Our story

SOME THINGS DON'T TRANSLATE.
THEY JUST TASTE RIGHT.
Food has a funny way of remembering for us.
A flavour can take you back to a summer afternoon. A particular biscuit can remind you of Nonna's kitchen. One spoonful can bring back a person, a place or a feeling you haven't thought about in years.
That's what we want Parrozzo to do.
For some, it will taste like home.
For others, it will be a first taste of somewhere they've never been.
Either way, pull up a chair.

MADE PROPERLY.
From Gran Sasso peaks to Sydney Road in Brunswick, our recipes carry the spirit of Abruzzo. Some things don't translate, they just taste right. We keep it simple, honest, and handmade every single morning.
Forte e gentile hospitality defines us. Whether you drop by for an espresso, a warm parrozzo cake, or a scoop of fresh gelato, you're family here. Che vu? Sit down and let us feed you.
We created Parrozzo because we wanted to create something that felt like home.
Abruzzo has its own flavours, traditions, own way of gathering around a table. Some of its recipes have been passed down through generations without ever being written down. Others are slowly disappearing. We want to keep them alive.
Parrozzo is inspired by the village bars of Abruzzo, a place to have a gelato, stop for a coffee, share a dolce, bump into someone you know and, hopefully, stay a little longer than you planned.
STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART OF ABBRUZZO

A PLACE TO BELONG
Parrozzo isn't meant to feel like a transaction or a fleeting “brand experience”.
It's a gelateria. A village cafe. A place for locals, families, friends, regulars and anyone who walks through the door.
We're the cheeky older cousin who always looked out for you. Nonno's favourite. The one who remembers your order.
Come for the gelato.
Stay for the dolci.
Come back because it feels familiar.
